Vishal Patel, an associate with Meland Budwick, P.A., focuses his practice on commercial litigation and also handles matters related to bankruptcy, financial frauds, trade secrets, and intellectual property..
During law school, Vishal interned for the Atlanta Legal Aid Society, where he gained experience with the Georgia Fair Business Practices Act and Georgia laws on fraud in contract inducement.
Vishal earned his J.D. from Emory University School of Law, where he was ranked in the top 10% of his class in the Spring 2022 ILA Oral Arguments. His comment was published in EBDJ Volume 40 and he served as a Notes & Comments Editor for the subsequent volume. Vishal was selected as a member of the W. Homer Drake, Jr. Georgia Bankruptcy American Inn of Court and was an active member of the Asian Pacific American Law Student Association, and Emory Law’s IP program, Technological Innovation: Generating Economic Results (TI:GER).
